Search engines do not rank you on price, and your structured data updates on a Priceflag write exactly as it would on a manual edit in the admin. Priceflag changes list prices, not per-person prices. Two shoppers looking at the same product in the same minute see the same number — no surge pricing, no quiet personalisation, and a full change log.

How much traffic do I need for this to work?

There is no hard floor, but there is an honest trade-off. A low-traffic store gets wider confidence bounds, so Priceflag compensates by taking smaller steps and holding each one longer — weeks to settle a change rather than days. Below roughly fifty orders a month on a given product we will tell you the signal is not there yet.

Does it change prices without asking me?

Only if you decide it should. Every product starts in review mode: Priceflag proposes, you approve, and nothing reaches your storefront until you do. Autonomy is granted deliberately, per collection or per product, and is revocable at any time, including a global freeze that stops all writes immediately.

What happens to my prices if I uninstall?

Uninstalling removes our write access, so whatever price is live at that moment stays live. We do not roll anything back on the way out. If you want the originals restored, export your price history and put them back before you uninstall.
